About the studio
Who we are
A French video game studio specialising in RPGs and mythology, currently being built from the ground up.
Shift Plus is a French video game studio. Our creation is still ongoing — the studio is being assembled piece by piece, deliberately rather than quickly.
Our ground is the RPG and mythology: two fields where we claim genuine expertise, and from which we draw the material of what we build. This page will keep changing. Rather than write the story we would like to tell one day, we prefer to say plainly where we are: early, focused, and serious about the four things below.
Expertise, innovation, creativity and ethics are our core values — not a mission statement written after the fact, but the criteria we use to decide who we work with and what we build.
In practice
What that means
Values are cheap to write down. These are the ones we intend to be held to.
Innovation
New ideas deserve room to fail. We keep space for the experiments that do not fit a spreadsheet.
Creativity
Every discipline gets a voice. The best ideas rarely come from the person who was supposed to have them.
Ethics
Fair conditions inside, honest design outside. No dark patterns, no crunch as a business model.
